Faux "coins" bearing the head of Maximilian I of Mexico form the links of this sterling silver bracelet. Each "coin" displays the Emperor's profile, complete with forked beard, and the legend "Maximiliano Emperador." The "coins" resemble genuine Mexican coins, but are one-sided. The bracelet secures with a slide clasp. Makes an fun statement worn alone or in a stack. Circa 1950.
