This beautiful antique Edwardian ring is tension set with five oval-cut almandine garnets with a deep cherry-pink hue. They graduate in size from 0.10 – 0.50ct in the centre and total approx. 1.2ct.
Garnet is the birthstone of January and has been desired throughout history for its strength and blazing crimson-red or cherry-pink flame that glows beneath its dark exterior. It’s considered a stone of the heart and is symbolic of passion and enduring love.
The ring is modelled in a muted 9ct yellow gold and features pierced sides and Birmingham hallmarks within the band, dating to 1909. It’s very pretty and in excellent condition.
